Sonya is originally from Cork, and qualified in UCC with 1st degree honours in 2006. She initially worked in general surgery before joining the Cork GP scheme in 2008 and qualifying with MICGP in 2012.

Since then she has worked in general practice in Cork and Limerick. Sonya has a Diploma in Child Health, Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Certificates in contraception and long acting reversible contraception.

She joined Blossom Gate in 2014, became a partner in January 2016 and became a GP trainer in January 2025. She trains doctors from the mid west training scheme. She has a special interest in women’s health. Dr Ryan is married and has 3 children. She has a keen interest in running and fitness.

Elizabeth qualified from UCC and spent a number of years working in hospital medicine in the areas of general medicine, psychiatry and emergency medicine, including 6 months in Australia.

She completed her postgraduate training with the Cork Specialist Training Programme in General Practice in 2013, becoming a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners.

She holds postgraduate diplomas in Clinical Psychiatry and Medicine of the Elderly. She joined the practice team in Blossom Gate in 2015 and became a partner in 2020. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, including pediatrics, mental health and medicine for the elderly.

Sinéad is originally from County Tyrone and graduated from the University of Manchester in 2007. She returned to the North after graduating and worked in various hospital specialties including obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry and emergency medicine. Sinéad completed her GP training in 2012. She was a GP partner in Coalisland, Co Tyrone before relocating to County Limerick in 2020.

She joined Blossomgate in October 2020 and became a partner in January 2024. She holds postgraduate diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Child Health and Lifestyle Medicine. She holds a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Education and enjoys teaching students and trainees in the practice. She recently completed a postgraduate certificate in Emergencies in Sports Medicine at UCD.

Sinéad is interested in all aspects of general practice.

She has 3 children and enjoys keeping fit and following Gaelic games as well as singing in a choir in her spare time.
